1. Select one of the many Genesis Creations lithoprints, one which best reflects the interests of your subject (matted size 20"x26"). Or you may order your portrait done on a blank sheet so that the subject stands alone, in which case the matted portrait size may be either 16"x20" (head and shoulders) or 20"x26" (half-length).

2. Select either a black and white or color photo at least 5"x7" in size, preferably taken by a professional photographer, however clear, large-image amateur photo may be acceptable. The use of flash photography is discouraged. Photos taken outdoors should not include squinting or harsh shadows.

4. If the work is to be done in colored pencil ($25. extra), be sure to indicate any special instructions, hair, eye, and clothing colors (if not obvious). Also indicate any departure from the photos such as moles to be omitted in the drawing, minor changes in the hair, or clothing.

5. Indicate a preference in your choice of mat colors. We can handle most any selection. The inner mat is about 1/2" wide and is usually the darker of the two colors. Our standard frame style is about 1 1/4" wide and comes in Oak, cherry/mahogany, gray, white, or black. Metal frames in brass or chrome are also available. Deluxe matting and framing with plexiglass is $45. Portraits may be ordered without frames however the frames tend to protect the work during shipping.

6. Once your photos have been accepted, style of portrait indicated, matting and framing agreed upon, you will be informed of the cost of the portrait. A check or money order totalling 50% of the cost must be received before work on your portrait will begin.
